Rumaldo "Raymond" Marquez passed from this life surrounded by his family to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, January 26, 2004. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Faye Reed Marquez; his grandchildren, Vicki, Linda and husband Ron, Paula and husband John, Ed and wife Maryann; his great-grandchildren, Melissa and husband James, Mark and wife Dawn, Michael, Michele, Leslie, Jennifer, Jordan, Justin, Consuelo, Seth, Krystal and husband Juan, Gabriel and wife Thresa; great-great-grandchildren, Brittany, Jami, Mark Jr., Davina, Amanda, Jordan, Sydney, Danielle, Emily, Jacob and Daniel. He is preceded in death by his parents Alejandro and Eulalia Marquez; sister Mrs. M. Montoya; a daughter, Connie Reed Sandoval; son-in-law, Jacob Sandoval, a granddaughter, Bonnie Sandoval Reed and great-grandson, John R. Jones, Jr. He was an incredible, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather who truly enjoyed a spoonful of peanut butter, an ice cold coke and the hugs and kisses of his family. Raymond will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. A rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, NM. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Garden Cemetery in Albuquerque.
