Nellie K. Sloan, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1982, died Saturday, January 17, 2004. She is survived by her son, Bobby Sloan and wife, Nancy of Edgewood, NM; granddaughter and family, Ronda and James Kloosterman of Moorpark, CA and great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Conner; granddaughter and family, Carly and Stephen Colletti of Las Vegas, NV and great-grandchildren, Stephen and Isabelle; grandson, Stephen Sloan of Bloomington, IL; brother, J. Pat Knight and family of Boone, NC; nephew, Mike Barros and family Helena, MT; and niece, Dana Nupp and family of Silver City, NM. Nellie was born July 2, 1904. She was active in Abundant Life Church. Nellie volunteered at the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch Thrift Store. Graveside services were held Saturday, January 24, 2004, 11:30 a.m., at Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM, with Rev. George Morris officiating. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
