Obituary for RANDOLPH

Gene. Gene Randolph, 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2004. Gene died of complications from Mesothelioma, an asbestos related lung cancer. Gene was born in Baxter Springs, Kansas and moved to Albuquerque at an early age. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, serving aboard a ship in the Pacific Theater. Gene and his wife, Clara, owned and operated, Randolph Plumbing and Heating Co. in Albuquerque for over 20 years until retiring in 1982. After their retirement, Gene and Clara traveled extensively throughout the world. Gene was a life member of VFW Post 401, and really enjoyed fishing and hunting. His wife, Clara, preceded him in death on October 6, 2002. Two daughters, Jerre Havel and Sharon Randolph; son, Richard; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive Gene. His extended family, Joe Mahan Kelton Mahan, Sterling Mahan, Bruce Mahan and Fred Gabriele, whom he always referred to as "his boys" also survive him. At Mr. Randolph's request, no services will be held.
