Viviana Montoya. The angels of God came for Viviana Montoya to join the Lord Jesus. Vivian's last loud and audible words were 'Praise the Lord Alleluia'. We all wait to join her. Viviana Montoya, 92, of South Main Street in Belen passed away on Monday, January 19, 2004 at the home of her son, Henry Montoya. Viviana was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Viviana was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Montoya; her mother, Soledad Sanchez; and her father, Manuel Sanchez. She is survived by her sons, Henry Montoya and his wife, Rosie, Joe Merie Montoya and his wife, Margaret, Norbert Montoya and his wife, Marcy; Mikie Montoya and his wife, Ella (deceased); and Andrew Montoya. Viviana was also survived by her grandchildren, Theresa Marshall, Todd Montoya, Juan Carlos Montoya, Andrea Montoya, Maria Montoya, Michelle Montoya, Danielle Montoya; and her great-grandchildren, Isaac Montoya, and Scott McLain. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 22, 2004, 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Todd, Juan Carlos, and Herman Montoya, Ernest and Ruben Cordova, Orlando and Manuel Baca. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM 87002.
