Obituary for MAXEY

Mother Pear Lee Maxey, born June 12, 1916, a resident of Albuquerque for 44 years, went home to be with the Lord January 14, 2004. Awaiting her homecoming is her husband of 57 years, Deacon Henry Clay Maxey and their two infant children. Left to celebrate her homegoing are their ten children, Mary Lue Florence and husband, Mr. Ben Florence of Seattle, WA, Elizabeth Ann Turner and husband, Pastor Elder Charles Turner of Odessa, TX, Missionary Romie L. Willis of Albuquerque, Mr. Manuel Clay Maxey and wife, Mrs. Millicent of Denver, CO, Mother Sylvia J. Higgins of Albuquerque, Mother Lorine M. Maxey of Phoenix, AZ, Minister Faye Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Mr. Ray T. Maxey and wife, Mrs. Nikki Maxey of Albuquerque, Mrs. Rose B. Smith and husband, Mr. Jimmie Smith of Albuquerque, Deacon Don Maxey and wife, Mrs. Theldoris Maxey of Albuquerque; 43 grandchildren; 108 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. Mother Maxey was loved and adored by all that knew her. Her sweet, quiet spirit was the incitement of many preachers, pastors and evangelists. She will be greatly missed by her family, loved ones and friends. A visitation for Pear Lee will be Thursday, January 22, 2004, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at God's House Church, 2335 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Homegoing Celebration services are Friday, January 23, 2004, 11:30 a.m., also at God's House. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Larry D.
