Irene Jacob Czel of Albuquerque, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 17, 2004. She was the wife of the late James E. Czel, Jr. Irene was born in Bridgeport, Conn., on December 25, 1923. She received her BS degree from Columbia University, New York City. A longtime elementary school teacher, she is survived by her son James E. Czel of Albuquerque; a daughter Julene Schultz of Needham, Mass.; four grandchildren Jackie and Jennifer Czel, Sarah and Jonathan Schultz, and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, officiated by Pastor David Bruskas of City on a Hill Church.
