Vivian Gertrude Schliebe, 90, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Laurel View Home. She is survived by her husband, Martin of Rio Rancho; daughter, Trudy Mozee and husband, Elliott of Corrales; son, Frederick W. Johnson and wife, Shirley of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Benjamin, Gayle, Bradley, Janine, Jeffrey and Melanie; and 11 great-grandchildren. Born in Chicago to parents Albert and Gertrude Huseby on September 7, 1913, Vivian graduated from Morton Junior College and then attended Grinnell College. A resident of the local area for sixty years, she was active in a number of local and national organizations. She was noted for her gregarious nature and had a multitude of friends who will sorely miss her. Predeceasing Vivian were husbands, C.F. Brown and B.H. Johnson as well as son, Bruce J. Johnson and brother, William Huseby. Services will be held January 16, at 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor Robert J. Pinta officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family requests that remembrances be made to the charity of your choice or to the National Federation of the Blind, P.O.
