Obituary for LAEDLEIN

John "Jack" Edward Laedlein, 88, a resident of Bosque Farms, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2004. Jack was born April 29, 1915. He was raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. After high school graduation, he attended the Pennsylvania Nautical School and graduated with a 2nd Mates License. He was inducted into the US Army at the start of WW II then transferred and served as an officer in the US Navy until the end of WW II. After the war he studied Transportation and Traffic Management and Rates which he later taught at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, MI while working for the Detroit Chamber of Commerce in the Transportation and Traffic Department. He went on to earn his certification to practice Transportation Law before the ICC Board. Jack moved to New Mexico in 1974 to work at the Grants Anaconda Mill Site in Transportation and Traffic Control. He retired to Bosque Farms in 1982. Jack is survived by his wife of 53 years, Enid Laedlein of Bosque Farms; one brother, Frank Laedlein; and one sister, Pearl Laedlein, both of Williamsport, PA; three nieces and three nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, North Bosque Loop and Ranchero Road, Bosque Farms with Fr. Bob Bryan officiating.
