Marilyn Shirley Hawkins passed away suddenly at her home on January 9, 2004, where she lovingly cared for her disabled husband. She was 72 years old. She is survived by her husband, James L. Hawkins; daughter, Dianne S. Otto and husband, James; and grandchildren, Cheri L. and Christopher N. Otto, all of Albuquerque. Marilyn was born January 21, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She and her husband, Jim moved to Albuquerque in August of 1986 to be near their family. She was an active member of the Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3900 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, 87109, where services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. The family requests any memorials be sent to Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marilyn's memory.
