Wilma "Gigi" Galassini, 87, a long time resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, January 12, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joe Galassini of Albuquerque; daughter, Helen Shields and husband, Stanley of Tularosa, NM; daughter, Pat Chappelle of Lovington, NM; step-daughter, Rose Sullivan of Albuquerque, NM; step-son James Galassini of McIntosh, NM; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sisters- in- law, Elizabeth and Esther Green; and numerous other family and friends. Wilma was a member of the Highland Baptist Church. Memorial services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Pastor John Embrey officiating.
