Mavis Dorrell, 45, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away January 10, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 2 1/ 2years, Steven K. Dorrell of Rio Rancho; stepson, Joseph S. Dorrell; father, Joseph Gibbs of Cuero, TX; sisters, Lula Gibbs, Zina Gibbs, Donna Lemons, Joelene Jones, and Faedra Johnson; and brothers, Phillip Gibbs, Felix Gibbs and Robert Gibbs Sr. Visitation for Mavis will be Wednesday, January 14, 2004, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2004, 10:30 a.m., at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1509 Edith Blvd. SE, with Rev. Joe Lewis officiating.
