Mary M. Karaskiewicz went home to the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2004, after a brief illness. She died comfortably at home. A resident of Albuquerque since 1986, Mary spent most of her life in Buffalo, NY where she retired after a long life of service to her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Sigmund; sons, Ronald and his wife, Dana, and Paul; three granddaughters, Jennifer Orth and husband, James, of Kansas City, Lara Karaskiewicz of San Francisco and Susan Karaskiewicz of Albuquerque. Mary has one great grandson, James Joseph Orth. She is also survived by her loving niece, Kathy Ronk, of Lockport, NY; two nephews Richard Mazikowski of Tonowada, NY, and Michael Mazikowski of Buffalo, NY. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
