Obituary for PUCKETT

Doris Marie Puckett born January 1, 1920 passed to her final reward January 2, 2004. She was the daughter of Leon and Corda Sherwood, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Woodrow Wilson Puckett of Albuquerque. Doris was born in Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by her son, Robert Puckett and his wife, Mary Carolyn Puckett of Belen, NM; and daughter, Debbie Coleman; also five grandsons; and one granddaughter; and one great-grandson. She was a member of Adah Chapter, Order of Easter Star, Albuquerque. She was a active member in the 1950s of the Social Order of Beauchant and the Daughters of the Nile. Doris was a singer with the Paul Whiteman band during the 1940s, using the stage name of Doris Durell of the Golden Thrush. God has prepared a special place for this special lady who has come for a long visit. Cremation has taken place, there will be no Memorial Service. I love you mom.
