Anna Marie Slavin, 79, loving wife and mother, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 21, 2003. She was a resident of Bermuda Dunes, CA for 5 1/ 2 years formerly of Albuquerque for 37 years. Anna's Survivors include her husband of 52 years, James L. Slavin; three daughters, Kitty Norris and husband, Terry of Bosque Farms, NM, Patcy Ashby and husband, Jimmy of Rio Rancho, NM, Peggy Chank and husband, Larry of Bermuda Dunes, CA; one brother, James W. Helfrich and wife, Barbara of Mentz, TX; four grandchildren, Geroge Bleicher and wife, Jamie, Cody Ashby, Kyle Chank,and Kaley Chank. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven, 5310 Claremont NE, with Fr. Hugh J. Curran CSB, of Houston TX, officiating.
