Helen Alice Horne was born in Gibson County, Indiana on October 29, 1913. She passed away on December 28, 2004 at the Medical Center in Muleshoe, TX. She had been living in the Farwell Convalescent Center in Farwell, TX for the last seven years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemual and Floy Waters; her infant sister, Birdie Lucille; her daughter, Carolyn Riddle; her son, Tom Beckwith; and stepdaughter, Doris Hazlett. Helen is survived by her brother, Walter Waters; and sister, Martha Moore both of Mt. Vernon, IN; and her sister, Mary Strum of Morganfield, Ky; her son, Jim Beckwith and wife, Geraldine of Winters, TX; son, Steve Breeze and wife, Claudia of Edgewood, NM; stepdaughter, Mary Lou Feeney of Jonesville, MT; and stepdaughter, Jeanine Breeze of Evansville, IN also survive her. She also leaves 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She also leaves many friends and acquaintances in Indiana, NM and Texas. Funeral Services will be held at First Spanish Fruit Ave. Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2003. Reverend Keith Riddle will conduct the service.
