Glenda D. Gerdeman, age 77, of Las Vegas, NM died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Northeastern Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, NM. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas, Las Vegas Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Chapter AC P.E.O and from 1974 to 1981 she was executive secretary of the Viles Foundation Board, which awards grants to deserving young people in Northern New Mexico. Besides her husband of 55 years, Dale B. Gerdeman of Las Vegas, NM; two daughters, Diane Peters and her husband, Jeff of Chandler, AZ and Ellen Klein and her husband, Lonnie of Las Cruces, NM; two sisters, Shirley Willis and her husband, Rudolph of Truro, IA and Sandra Thompson and her husband, Barry of West, TX; two grandchildren, Scott Silva and his wife, Kelly of Scottsdale, AZ and Kara Ashcraft and her husband, Matt of Gilbert, AZ; and one great-granddaughter, Brooke Emily Ashcraft of Gilbert, AZ. A Memorial Service will be conducted by Rev. Michelle Vetters at the First Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas, NM on Friday, January 2, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. The family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Las Cruces Symphony Educational Outreach Fund. This Fund provides free music programs for over 19,000 children in New Mexico each year. Please mail to the Las Cruces Symphony Association, P. O.
