Nina Jean Ritz, age 79, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Saturday, December 20, 2003. Comfortable in heaven, the life of Nina Jean Ritz will be celebrated during a rosary at French Mortuary, 1111 University NE, on Sunday, December 28, 2003, at 4:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3828 4th NW, on Monday, December 29, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. Those who came in contact with Nina were blessed by her easy laugh and radiant heart. Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, and her brother, Robert Copp. Nina is survived by her sisters, Fern Rice of Colorado and Leola O'Hara of California; and her brother Hedrick (Ace) Copp of California. Nina's sense of humor and love of life will live on through her two children: son Michael of Redmond, WA, and daughter Michele, of Alamogordo, NM; five grandchildren: Roxanne, Michael, Jennifer, Melissa, and Brian; and three great-grandchildren: Raquel, Jerrilynn, and Christian.
