Obituary for LARGE

Harvey D. Large passed away on December 22, 2003 in Red River, NM at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; three brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his children, daughter, Jayne Hopper; son, Harvey "David" Large; daughter, Becky Waltz and husband; daughter, Linda Loushine and husband; his longtime caregiver, Willie Hopper; two sisters, Esther Jane Tucker and Beth Jones; brother, Dan Large; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born in Denton, TX in 1929 and relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico as a teenager. He was employed for many years at Sandia Corporation. He moved to Red River, NM in 1969 where he and his wife, Marie, managed the Deer Lodge. His greatest joy was fishing and spending time with friends. He will be missed and loved forever by his family and friends. Cremation to take place. Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harvey's memory may be made to Denver Rescue Mission's Harvest Farm, 4240 E. County Rd. 66, Wellington, CO 80549.
