Esther Armijo, age 86, beloved and devoted mother, sister, aunt, and Godmother was called to our Father's heavenly home, Tuesday, December 23, 2003. Esther was born in Casa Salazar, NM to the late Daniel and Barbarita Gonzales on December 24, 1916. Esther is survived by her loving daughter, Fedolina A. Aranda and husband Amalio of Algodones, NM; one brother, Cleofas Gonzales also of Algodones; eleven precious nieces and nephews; friends and neighbors. Esther will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be held Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary; where a rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Daniel Garcia, Leroy Vigil, Frank Chavez, Anthony Lovato, Ramon Gonzales, Jr., and Arthur Salazar.
