Margaret Rayson "Peg" Hook, 76, died on December 21, 2003 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Berwyn, IL to James B. and Hannah Anderson Rayson. Margaret was dedicated to serving others in a variety of ministries and positions. She taught preschool at First Congregational Church in Downers Grove, IL. She then was an executive assistant at Four Lakes, Lisle, IL, and later served as an executive assistant at Associated Equipment Distributors in Oakbrook, IL. Peg married Robert E. Hook in 1974. When Peg and Robert moved to New Mexico in 1977, she worked as secretary at Bethany Christian Church in Farmington. In 1988, she and Robert moved to Albuquerque. Margaret continued her active life as secretary at First Congregational Church and later at New Life Presbyterian Church. She also volunteered as an Amigo for Musical Theatre Southwest, and most recently, tutored for the Oasis Program at Matheson Park School. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Robert in 1991. Survivors include her children, Cathryn Hrudicka and Scott Hrudicka, and Cathryn's partner, Richard Links all of San Francisco; her first husband, Roy Charles Hrudicka; the Ellis and Henry families, Joan Morris and other relatives in England; and many wonderful friends, both in the Chicago and Albuquerque areas. Memorial Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Sombra Del Monte Christian Church with Dr. Michael Oden officiating.
