Christine (Harless) Love passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2003 in Albuquerque at Northeast Heights Medical Center. She is survived by daughter, Joanna and grandson, Austin of Albuquerque; sisters, Sue Luther and husband, Bill and Mae Brazfield of Mountainair, NM; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and customers. Chris was born November 22, 1944, in Socorro County at the Harless Ranch. She grew up and attended school at Mountainair, graduating in 1963. In 1967, she enrolled in Barber School in El Paso, TX and completed school and in April 1968, passed the barber exam and was self-employed as a barber for 35 years. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille Harless; sisters, Helen and Pelma; brothers, Buddy and Jimmie. Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be at a later date.
