Florence Alma Kindred died on December 18, 2003 in Albuquerque. She was born March 2, 1910 on a farm near Belford, IA. The family moved to Kansas during her high school years where she grew up, married, and raised a son and daughter. She moved to Albuquerque in 1985 by way of New Orleans, LA and Renton, WA. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Williams of Quitman, TX; her son, Leo Scully and wife, Genevieve of Corrales, NM; and granddaughters, Wendy Williams-Botham of Petra, Jordan, Karen Woodruff and her husband, Mark of Alba, TX, Christina Vail and husband, Neal of San Antonio, TX, Carla Taylor and husband Kenneth of Clayton, NM, and Colleen Jones and husband, Tim of Albuquerque. Florence had four great grandchildren, Michaela Kathleen Vail of San Antonio, TX, Devian Rae Taylor, Jimmie Wayne Taylor, and Dolan John Taylor, all of Clayton, NM. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff and caregivers of Haven Care and the Evergreen House for their loving extra care. Cremation has taken place with a private scattering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation to the charity of their choice.
