Richard A. Chavez, 44, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 17, 2003. Richard is survived by his parents, Tony and Connie Chavez; two sisters, Bernice Chavez and husband, Cruz Mirabal, Diane Lucero and husband, Jim; one brother, Ray Chavez and wife, Jerri; fiancee, Bellina Luchetti; friends, Dillinger, Azuma and Pharoh; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; also friends of Bill W. and Yaweeh Aloheim. Richard was a great mechanic, race car driver and loved fishing, football, hunting and music. Richard had a huge heart and would willingly assist everyone in times of need. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW by Father Gino. The family will be accepting family and friends at the church after 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
