Gerald Edwin Weeks. Saturday, December 13, 2003, 68, passed gently into his next life to join his beloved wife, Gale. During his life he dedicated himself to public service. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces for 32 years; was a public school teacher for 22 years and served two consecutive terms in the New Mexico State Legislature. His incredible presence will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by daughter, Sharon Richardson and husband, Steve; daughter, Brenda Logsdon and husband, Mark; and son, Gerald Mark Weeks and wife, Maureen, all of Albuquerque; a brother, Donald Weeks and wife, Rebecca of Amarillo, TX; grandsons, Alan Lee Logsdon, Steven Andrew Richardson, Shane Ryan Richardson; Aaron Mark Logsdon, Christopher Kaill Embry-Weeks, Gerald Duncan Kynon Weeks and Aodhan Connor Sinclair Weeks; granddaughters, Shawna Renee Richardson, Amanda Marie-Frances Logsdon, Tarynn Rebekah Gale Weeks; all of Albuquerque. Services will be held Friday, December 19, at 10:00 a.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE.
