Kenneth David "Kenny" Shores, Sr., 58, a resident of Albuquerque since 1986, departed Sunday, December 7, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Georgia Shores; daughter, Jennifer Shores; son, Ken Shores; granddaughter, Christian Shores, all of Albuquerque; brother, Henry Shores and wife, Ann of Wheeling, WV; sisters, Kathy Parsons and husband, Jay of Wheeling, WV and Sandy Eubank and husband, Randy of Olathe, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Shores served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Air Force. He was in Law Enforcement for over 14 years before moving to Albuquerque. Kenny had worked in automotive sales and management for the past 17 years here in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 7550 Eubank NE, with Pastor Warren Graff officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Tuesday, December 9, 2003, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 90790, Albuquerque, NM, 87199.
