Obituary for TABET

Rosie S. Tabet, 70, a loving child of the Lord Jesus our God peacefully joined Him while in the arms of her loving husband, Fidel at their home in Belen, at 12:30am on Sunday, November 30, 2003, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rosie attended school in Belen and was also a cheerleader and homecoming queen for Belen High School. She raised three boys while operating Tabet Drug Store on Reinkin Ave. in Belen, alongside her husband for over 35 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her five loving grandchildren. Rosie loved the Lord and lived her life by Proverbs 31. Fidel asks that you go to your bible to read this beautiful verse. Rosie is preceded in death by her two sons, Michael Joseph and Kevin Edward Tabet; her brothers, Louie and Michael Sanchez; her parents, Mike and Carlotta Sanchez; and her father-in-law, Joe Tabet. Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 48 1/2 years, Fidel G. Tabet; two sons, Gerald S. Tabet and his wife, Dianne of Albuquerque, NM; and Bruce A. Tabet and his wife, Mary of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Madison, Mason, and Mitchell Tabet of Albuquerque; Joey Tabet of Phoenix; and Kelly Tabet of Castleford, ID; three brothers, Anastacio Sanchez of Owensburg, KY; Bobby Sanchez of Las Vegas, NV; Patrick Sanchez of Brighton, CO; one sister, Nikki and her husband, George Marple of Marrietta, CA. All services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Calvary Chapel Rio Grand Valley beginning with a visitation at 10:30am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. . Rosie's ashes will be laid to rest at the Mano de Ayuda Orphanage in Ario de Rosales, Mexico at a later date. The family requests that donations be made to Mano de Ayuda Orphanage, P.O.
