Agapito "Pete" Silva, 75, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2003. He was born on January 16, 1928 in T or C, New Mexico. Mr. Silva was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 25 years, American Legion Post 13 for 26 years and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. 401. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carmen Silva; sons, Encarnacion Silva, Agapito Silva Jr. and Bernardo Silva and fiancee, Regina Garcia; daughters, Delilah Silva and Rachel Silva; brothers, Antonio Silva and wife, Velma and Edward Silva and wife, Celia; sisters, Lupe Ortiz and Rosa Garcia; granddaughters, Tanya, Terri, Lina, Claudia, Amanda and Mariah; grandsons, Encarnacion Agapito Jr., Robert, Richard, Lawrence, Josh and Fabian; great-granddaughters, Anasthaia, Annabell and Jacqueline and great-grandsons, Lawrence, Jesus, Robert Jr., Angel, Josiah and Matthew. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Encarnacion Silva, Agapito Silva Jr., Bernardo Silva, Richard Silva, Josh Silva and Encarnacion Agapito Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Alejandro Garcia, Ernesto Perez and Pedro Brito.
