Obituary for YORMACK

Louis Yormack, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, November 20, 2003. He is survived by his son, Barry Steven Yormack and wife, Coni of Littleton, CO; daughter, Carol Jean Brown and husband, Lee of Albuquerque; brothers, Bernard Yormack and wife, Pat of Ft. Myers, FL and Stanley Yormack and wife, Marsha of Palm City, FL; and grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Douglas, Lauren and Brian. Louis was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and brother Herman. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Jacob and Clara Yormack. Louis graduated from City College of NY with a BBA, and served in World War II in the Pacific Theatre in the U.S. Army. After the war, he married Barbara Cooper in 1946; they celebrated 52 years of marriage. Louis worked for many years as a sales manager in the textile industry. He was an active member of the Masons, and had been a Boy Scout Troop leader for many years. Louis was an avid golfer and in his later years, he loved fishing and schmoozing.
