Edward J. "Jimmie", age 85, passed away November 18th at a local hospital. He was preceded in death 8 months ago, by his beloved wife of 30 years, Martha Sandoval Phillips. He is survived by his son, George L. Carver, II and wife, Bunny; daughter, Leda Moreland and husband, Larry and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his nephew Earl Phillips and wife, Arlene of Dallas, TX; nieces, Suzanne Mendoza and husband, Lupe of Glendale, CA and Marilyn Bennetch and husband, Jim of Glen Allen, VA. Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the Carver's residence.
