Mr. Florcenio A. Romero, 86, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Wednesday, November 19,2003. Mr. Romero is survived by his beloved wife of fifty eight years, Mrs. Paula Romero; three daughters, Christina Salas and husband, Bob, Geneva Jinzo and husband, Delubino and Yvonne Chavez and husband, Joe; one sister, Inez Montoya; one brother, Epimenio Romero; seven grandchildren, Lisa Gamboa and husband, Louie, Jodi Moya and husband, Monty, Terri Clark and husband, Larry, Kim Herrera and husband, Eric, Monica Chavez, Tanya Jinzo and Joseph Chavez; ten great-grandchildren, Malorie, Ryan and Brisa Gamboa, Desiree and Miranda Moya, Lawrence, LarriAnn Clark, Domonique Parra, Diego and Mia Herrera; his special niece, Debbie Chavez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Romero was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday morning in the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by a Franciscan Friar. Interment will follow at the Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Chavez, Andrew Sandoval, Rudy Sandoval, Berdine Sandoval, Gilbert Romero and Arnold Marquez.
