Obituary for MOCK

Thelma Mae Mock, a devoted mother and talented musician passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by her son, Richard Mock of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Nancy Mock Lyons of Penngove, CA; granddaughter, Sara Shavers; and great-grandchildren, Trever Toll and Madisen Shavers, all of St. Louis, MO. Mrs. Mock was preceded in death by Richard Mock, her husband of 43 years. She was born in Missouri, July 29, 1915 and lived in Albuquerque since 1927. Mrs. Mock served as an organist in many Albuquerque churches including St. John's Episcopal Cathedral and St. Mark's on the Mesa (where she was the first organist) and Temple Albert, was choir director of Daughters of the Nile, province president and Charter Member of Albuquerque Sigma Alpha Iota Chapter, a member of Mortarboard and UNM Alumni Board of Directors. Services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Ballut Abyad Shrine, Children's Transportation Fund, P.O.
