Jose N. Anaya, 93, went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2003. He was born on March 7, 1910 in New Mexico. Mr. Anaya is survived by his sons, Luis Anaya and wife Rosa of Tipton, CA, Toby Ponce and wife Margie of Tucumcari, NM, Bitalio Anaya and wife Sandy of Anchorage, AL, Andrew Anaya and wife Louisa of Modesto, CA, Joe Anaya Jr. and wife Carmen of Goshen, CA, Lupe Anaya and wife Reta of Salinas, CA and Anthony Anaya and wife Lisa of Albuq., NM; daughters, Mary Helen Parraz of Albuq., NM, Delfina Torres and husband Henry of Goshen, Ca and Vivian Sanchez and husband Jose of Eldorado, TX and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mr. Anaya will be deeply missed by his loving family. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Paul Anaya, Tim Anaya, David Anaya, Toby Ponce Jr., Orlando Estorga and Eddie Estorga. Interment will follow at the our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
