Obituary for YACHIK

Theodore R. Yachik, 82, of Albuquerque, passed away, Saturday, November 15, 2003 due to natural causes. Ted is survived by his five sons, Jason and wife, Shannon, Jeremy, Skip and wife, Cindy, Alan and Theo and wife, Lynne Yachik; his daughter, Sue Lem and husband, Tye; and two stepchildren, Don Evans and Danine Turner and husband, Vince; and numerous grandchildren and countless loyal and eternally grateful friends. Ted, as he was known by his friends, was a Corsair Pilot in the Marine Corps during WWII and Korea. He received many medals including the Distinguished Flying Cross, The Air Medal, and the Presidential Unit Citation, all several times over. He became a Jehovah's Witness in the mid 80's and has held his faith in Jehovah very proudly. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2003, 4:00 p.m., French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
