Jose Filipe Chavez, 76, died on November 11, 2003 in Bosque Farms, NM. He was born in Albuquerque to Fernando and Edimita Lucero Chavez. Hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Chavez; mother, Edimita Hatfield; children, Charles Chavez and Elizabeth Monk; stepdaughter, Vicki Chandler; brother, Nestor Chavez; and many grandchildren. His father, Fred, preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2003 at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE followed by burial in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Monday.
