Mr. Casimiro Sanchez, 82, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 6, 2003 peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Mr. Sanchez is the beloved husband of 59 years to Mrs. Anita Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez is also survived by one daughter, Josephine (Josie) Chavez and husband, Jerry; one grandson, Jason Chavez; two step-grandchildren, Bonnie Chavez and Chris Sherrod; two sisters, Catalina Trujillo and Jennie Lord; one brother, Efren Sanchez and wife, Mary; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the Holy Family Senior Group. A Rosary was held Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. by Father Joe Nelson. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Jerry Chavez, Jason Chavez, Johnny Lujan, Antonio Lujan, Sammy Sanchez and Leo Aragon.
