Genevieve (Jennie) Williams, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2003. Born Mary Genevieve Holcomb in 1909 to William and Louella Holcomb of Hunt County Texas, Genevieve worked hard throughout her life to provide security for herself and her family. At one point she owned and operated several Beauty Salons in Albuquerque to ensure her two boys received college educations in preparation for their future. Her oldest son, Jim Culberson, became a successful business man in Houston and one of his sons, John Culberson, is today US Representative for Texas District 7. Her other son Charles and grandchildren have been very successful as well due in no small part to her example. She is survived by one son, Charles (Mickey) Culberson, grandchildren Michael, Jimmy, Jennifer, John and Chris Culberson plus great-grand daughters Amanda and Caroline Culberson. A family memorial service will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, November 1st at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Houston, TX.
