Pastor Danny M. Gutierrez, 49, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 28, 2003. He is survived by his sons Danny Gutierrez the II, and Gabriel Gutierrez; daughters April, Michelle and Alyiah Gutierrez; grandchildren Daemion and Malachi Gutierrez; parents Adrian and Dorothy Gutierrez; sisters Christine Buckler and husband Tim, Gerri Campbell and husband Chris, Evelyn DeCosta and husband Dwayne; and a brother John Gutierrez and wife Liz, all of Albuquerque. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Danny served his country in the U.S. Army. He graduated from New Mexico Highlands University. Danny was pastor of Northside Assembly of God Church for many years, with a special ministry serving the homeless and needy of Albuquerque. Services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2003, at 9:30 a.m. at Evangel Christian Center, 4501 Montgomery NE, with Pastor Raymond Franks officiating. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven. Pallbearers include Chris Campbell, Matt Vargas, Julio Navarro, Carlos Gutierrez, Dwayne DeCosta and Tim Buckler.
