Lucretia "Lu" M. Ernst, 69, a resident of Albuquerque for 27 years, died Thursday, October 23, 2003. She was a loving mother and grandmother; and is survived by her two sons, Steve Ernst and wife, Sue of Superior, CO and Jeff Ernst and wife, Bonnie of Heber City, UT; one daughter, Pamela Sedmak and husband, David of Shaker Heights, OH; four grandchildren, Lauren, Logan, Alexis and Julie; and grandpets, Sammy, Roxy and Skye. She was preceded in death in 1999 by her husband of 46 years, Gerald Ernst. Lu enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, bowling, and completing New York Times crossword puzzles. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 27, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
