Margaret (Peggy) A. Bucciarelli, 57, a resident of Albuquerque passed away October 4, 2003 with her beloved sons by her side. Her family wrote, "Peggy came to New Mexico as a breast cancer survivor in the early '80s. She loved the open skies, vast deserts, towering mountains, and every year looked forward to the Balloon Fiesta. Her compassion for others, simple ways, and integrity were an inspiration to her family and friends." She will be missed immensely. Peggy is survived by one brother, James P. Ward III of Rio Rancho, NM; and one sister, Ellen K. Parsons, of Chana, IL; four children, Michelle (Carey) Sanchez and husband of Houston, TX, Kevin P. Carey of Chicago, IL, Tracy L. Carson of Holly Springs, NC and Sean M. Carey and wife of Rio Rancho, NM. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, James P. Ward II and Margaret D. Olson; and one brother, Daniel Ward. An intimate Memorial Service in the ancient Celtic/Urnfield tradition will be carried out per her wishes in Albuquerque, NM Saturday, October 25, 2003.
