Geraldine May Herrick, 82, a resident of New Mexico for the past 30 years, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Geraldine was born July 13, 1921 the daughter of Martin Patrick and Vivian Foley Kane in Lake Forest, Illinois. She had lived in Santa Fe before coming to Rio Rancho. She had been a member of St. Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Herrick, Capt. USN Ret., in 1997, her parents, and one brother, Martin Kane, and daughter-in-law, Julie Herrick. She is survived by four children, John J. Herrick and wife Tina of Mendocino, CA, Patrick K. Herrick of Santa Fe, NM, Dennis M. Herrick of San Diego, CA, and Maureen T. Burrell and husband Tim of Santa Fe, NM; one brother, Robert Kane; and four grandchildren, Maria Herrick, Martin Herrick, Aurum Burrell, and Aidan Burrell.
