Ramoncita Montoya, our precious mother and grandmother left us peacefully, to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 14, 2003. Ramoncita Montoya was born December 23, 1916 in Cuba, NM and was blessed to share her life with her 5 children, Nato Chavez, Richard and Gina Montoya, Manuel and Julie Montoya, Rosie Padilla, Yvonne and Anastacio Zamora Sr. She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 30 years Adan Montoya. A Rosary will be recited at St Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Road SW, on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe Catholic Parish in Canyon, NM, on Friday, October 17, 2003 at 10:00 a.m., burial will follow at the Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Chavez, Chris Padilla, Anastacio Zamora Jr., Gene Chavez, Mark Garcia, and Manuel Montoya Jr., Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Padilla, Albert Placencio, and Victor Granillio. She left us with a wonderful memory of what a mother and grandmother should be, she will be truly missed. We love you Grandma "Tita".
