Mrs. Flora Montoya, loving mother, grandmother and friend to many, died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 73. Mrs. Montoya is preceded in death by her husband, Abel Montoya. Her favorite pastime was crocheting the many items she shared with her family and friends. Mrs. Montoya was a longtime parishioner of San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Mora and husband, Steven, and Evelyn Truden and husband, John; sisters, Patsy Chavez, and Rita Kelly and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Brian Mora and wife, Stephanie, Eric Mora and wife, Jennifer, Melissa and husband, Jeromy and Jessica Truden; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed by all. The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregiver, Joanna Gandara. Visitation for Mrs. Montoya will be held on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2003 at San Felipe de Neri Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Sedillo, Donna Ramacciotti, Freddie Sedillo, Danny Gutierrez, Frank Creamer, and Diane Kelly. Honorary pallbearer will be Arturo Sedillo.
