Obituary for ST.CLAIR

Jack Eugene St.Clair passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2003 surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren. Jack was born in Troutville, Virginia to George Washington St.Clair and Virginia Whitehead St.Clair on December 8, 1925. Jack was treasured and beloved by his entire family, wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was a career soldier in the Army for 31 dedicated years and was the recipient of many commendations as a result of his unwavering devotion to duty, honor, and country. He was a man of integrity, courage, loyalty, wit and thrift. He spent his entire life selflessly attending to the needs of his family both immediate and extended. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints residing in the Hobble Creek Stake, Hobble Creek 10th Ward. Jack is survived by his sweet wife of 56 years, Bennie Ratcliffe St.Clair; his children, Mona Peters, Larry St.Clair (Rieta), Sherree Call (William) and George St.Clair; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Stanley St.Clair, Clark St.Clair; and his sisters, Joy Murray and Mary June Johnson; and numerous adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sisters, Doris and Dorothy; his daughter, Shirley; and son, Ronnie; and his parents-in-law. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 11 a.m. in the Hobble Creek Stake Center, located at 495 South Canyon Rd. in Springville. Wheeler Mortuary of Springville, UT.
