Obituary for GAUNA

Isabell "Belle" Gauna, 72, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2003. She is survived by her children, Linda Gauna Billings, Charles Gauna and wife, Laura, Debra Jansen and husband, James; and grandsons, David and Richard, Gerald Gauna and wife, Mary Rose and grandson, Alejandro; and granddaughter, Yolanda, Philip Gauna and wife, Becky; and daughter, Madeline, Greg Gauna and his son, Stephen. Her mother is Susan Sisneros; and her siblings, Margaret Twombly and husband, Louis, Pete Sisneros and wife, Rosa, Pauline Gomez and husband, Ernest, Irene Mendoza and husband, Mike, Rose Turnbell and husband, Richard, and Dennis Sisneros and wife, Anna. Mrs. Gauna was preceded in death by her loving husband, William "Bill"; her infant granddaughter, Rachel Gauna; and her father, Pete Sisneros. Belle's life revolved around her children and she was happiest when they were all together, laughing and enjoying the closeness they shared. Belle and Bill instilled strong family values that will endure forever. Belle loved gardening, decorating, traveling, entertaining, shopping, bowling and fishing. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 5414 Fortuna Rd. NW.
