Manuelita (Molly) L.C. Herrera, born in Gallup, New Mexico on August 14, 1922, entered into eternal life on October 5, 2003. She was affectionately known as Molly. She raised six children to adulthood. Molly was a loving and giving lady. She helped all in need and always visited the sick, bringing with her flowers. She always said, "Flowers are for the living. If I am going to get flowers, I want them now while I am living." She is survived by her husband, Sirilo Garcia of the family home; and her brothers, Jose, Henry and Tony Cuellar of Albuquerque. She will be missed by her devoted friends of many years, Eva Padilla, Grace Gutierrez, Reverend Lucille Richardson, and Eloy and Helen Vera. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Cruz Cuellar; and a son and daughter. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 8, 2003, 9:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held after visitation at 11:00 a.m., also at Hillcrest Funeral Home, with Rev. Lucille Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale SE.
