Mary Snody Quesenberry, 93, died peacefully on September 27, 2003 in Mission Manor, Albuquerque, NM. She was born September 30, 1909 to W.J. Bragg and Susan Ann Mansell in Haskell County, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl W. Snody in 1960 and George Quensenberry, Sr. Survivors are her daughter, Suzanne Bailey and husband, Robert of Albuquerque; sisters, Maxine Tobey of Albuquerque and Genevieve Caldwell of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Chellie Bailey of Albuquerque, Steven Bailey and wife, Connie and their son, Alexander, 17, of Santa Fe and Mark Bailey and wife, Traci and their children, Chase, 3, and Lauren, 1, of Albuquerque; and the Quesenberry family. Mary had been a member of First Baptist Church, Las Cruces, NM and Hoffmantown Church, Albuquerque. She was a 50 year and life member of The Order of the Eastern Star, chapter #20, Las Cruces, NM. Per her request cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Las Cruces, NM. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, 8100 Constitution Place NE, Suite 120, Albuquerque, NM 87110, or the church of your choice.
