Obituary for BOULE

Robert C. Boule, 80, born in Albuquerque, NM, died on September 29, 2003 following short illness. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Peter and Lavinia Stewart, his parents Earl Nelson Boule and Bertha Stewart-Boule, and his brother Earl A. Boule. Bob was survived by nephew Mike Boule and wife Margarita, nieces Bunny Sanchez and husband Daniel, Wendy Baczenas and husband Ben, Cindy Boule and companion Randy Baker, Gayle King and husband Bill, Joan Yeagley and husband, Hac;two great-nieces; four great-nephews; and one great-great-niece. Bob was baptized as a member of the First United Methodist Church in 1923. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1939. Bob proudly served in the US Army in London and Paris during WWII from 1943 to 1946. Following the war he returned to his studies, graduating from UNM in 1948. He was lifetime member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Bob retired from Sunwest Bank Trust Department after 35 years of service. Known for his compassion and devotion to his family and friends, he will be sorely missed. Bob was, and his family is, grateful for the respect and kindness shown him during his illness by Dr. Haskins and Hospice Nurse Barbara Buchard. A memorial service will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 314 Lead SW, with Dr. Terry E. Anderson and Dr. Ira Williams, officiating.
