Hilario Ruiz, 94, a native of San Isidro, New Mexico passed away on Friday September 26, 2003 in Las Vegas, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Apolinar Ruiz and Josephina Benavidez Ruiz. Also, one sister, Merlina Ruiz; and two brothers, Jacobo Ruiz, and Felimon Ruiz; brothers-in-law, Rogelio Valencia and Orlando Perea. Surviving are two sisters, Eulalia "Lala" Valencia and Flora Perea. Special nieces and nephews, Frances Fresquez and husband, Alan, Sylvia Gonzales and husband, Felix, Chavella Ruiz, Josie Cortez, Tony Ruiz and wife, Susie, Roy Valencia, Alex Perea, Oliver Perea and wife, Donna, Clarence Perea and wife, Antoinette, Georgia Baca and husband, Charlie, Merlynn Gurule and Yolanda Coby and husband, David. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday September 29, 2003 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in San Isidro (south), New Mexico. Father Fracis Malley will celebrate the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday September 30, 2003 also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
