John Robert Wood, who resided in the Albuquerque since 1971 passed away on Friday, September 19, 2003 around 4:00 p.m. at Presbyterian Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 5, 1952 at Fort Monmouth, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Pamela L. Wood of Peralta, NM; and his three step-children, Kevin and wife, Colleen, David and April; his mother, Eva Lee Wood and grandmother, Ruth M. Jones of Albuquerque; two brothers, Rev. Forrest L. Wood and wife, Nancy of Houston, TX and James D. Wood of Albuquerque; also sister, Sandra J. Brandon and husband, Allen of Moriarty, NM; and sister-in-law, Cynthia E. Wood of McIntosh, NM; also numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Col. John F. Wood Jr., and brother, Ronald D. Wood. An informal service will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at the Pecos National Forest, N. of Santa Fe.
