Clara M. Roybal, age 84 and a resident of Albuquerque for over 30 years and formerly of Santa Fe, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at home surrounded by her family. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Roybal; children, Anthony, Michael, Larry; and granddaughter, Angelina Roybal. Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Roybal, of Albuquerque, Angelina Romero and husband, Skip of Santa Fe; sons, Robert Roybal of North Carolina, Joey Roybal, David Roybal, Martin Roybal and wife, Olivia all of Santa Fe, Donald Roybal and wife, Pauline of Albuquerque; sister, Connie Maes of Santa Fe; sister-in-law Ercilia Mollohan of Fairview, NM; 19 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many loved family members, and her beloved pooch. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 21, 2003, at Palm Chapel in Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at10:00 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2003, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Santa Fe with Father Tien Tri Nguyen celebrant. Serving as Pallbearers will be Lorann Romero, Levi Romero, Martin Roybal Jr., David Roybal Jr., Fidel Roybal, Jose Roybal Jr., Matthew Roybal and Nathan Roybal. Serving as honorary Pallbearers will be Leroy Romero Jr. and Donald Roybal Jr. Arrangements are under the direction of: Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE
